Welcome to the Rochester Civic Theatre! Located just off Broadway in downtown Rochester, MN, the Civic Theatre delivers a year-round slate of eight main stage and family-oriented theatre productions.

Since 1951, the Rochester Civic Theatre has thrilled us, scared us, soothed us, rallied us, entertained us, and moved us to tears of sorrow and joy through the presentation of professional-quality, live productions at an affordable price. The Civic Theatre also offers year-round educational and outreach programming that reaches over 7,000 students each year.

This volunteer driven organization is one of the largest community theatres in Minnesota and serves residents of Olmsted County, Southeast Minnesota and from around the country each season. Enjoy our website and we'll see you at the Theatre
