Usher

Task: Hand out programs, check tickets, guide patrons to seats, assist patrons during a performance, sell concessions, manage coat check.

Hours: 3-4 hours (Depends on the length of shows.)

When: Show nights.

 

 

Stage Crew

Task: Set up and move scenery, sweep set, operate follow spot, sound/light board, and fly system, strike show, help with costume changes.

Hours: 3-4 hours (Depends on the length of show.)

When: Show nights

  

 

Set Construction

Task: Help build scenery, paint scenery (both general and artistic,) construct props (crafts work,) props gathering, organize scene shop.

Hours: Variable

When: We are currently building the set for Mary Poppins.
If you are available during the following time frames, email Janet (Tech Director,) or call her at 507-282-8481 extension 215 and let her know when you can come, so that she can have a project ready for you to work on.  
Volunteers should plan a minimum of 2 hours for volunteering.  Wear or bring along clothes and shoes that can get paint on them.

 

 

 

Actor

Task: Rehearse and perform in a play/musical. (All actors will be chosen at open auditions)

Hours: Variable

When: Typically M-F 7-10PM for 4-6 weeks for rehearsals. Then 2-4 weeks of Thurs-Sun shows.
(Must be able to participate in all rehearsals and performances.)

Youth Troupe Performer

Task: Rehearse and perform in community-outreach troupes.
