
Touch and No Easy Answers
The Rochester Civic Theatre houses one of the nation's longest continuously-running programs about sexual abuse awareness and prevention. Developed by the Illusion Theatre of Minneapolis and cosponsored by Victim Services and Rochester Public Schools, each year more than eighty performances are presented to over 10,000 area students, educators, and parents. Adult volunteer actors are trained and provided by the Rochester Civic Theatre, and Victim Services of Olmsted County contributes a moderator for each performance.
Touch
Addresses issues of personal safety and defines the concept of good and bad touch for elementary students. This group performs Tuesday and Thursday mornings during the school year to 2nd and 5th graders.
No Easy Answers
Discusses sexual harassment, sexually transmitted diseases and sexual assault. This group performs Monday mornings during the school year to 8th graders.
