“Flare,” an original piece by playwright Ryan Stotts, explores the vagaries of love, the rawness of our emotions, the limits and boundaries of relationships and our capacity for emotional and physical violence.

Suzie Stier-Waletzki (RCT's A Streetcar Named Desire) and Ryan Stotts (RCT's Doubt) play Mia and James under the direction of RCT Executive Director Gregory Stavrou.

In the course of one night, Mia and James discover how far they will go to atone for, or defend, their guilt. There is sacrifice. There is shouting. There is gasoline.

Expiation. It's not just in the Old Testament anymore.

  • The doors open one hour before the show time.
  • Beer and wine will be available from the RCT Cabaret Bar.
  • Limited seating per performance. Early arrival is recommended.
  • Due to the content, this play is for mature audiences only.
